Orders are packed with ice packs if needed to place copepods and brine shrimp into a temporary dormancy (up to 24 hours).
Extended exposure to sun beyond 24 hours may reduce survival rates.
It is normal for ice packs to arrive melted and the box to be near ambient temperature.
Temperature tolerances:
Copepods: up to ~99°F
Fresh phyto: up to ~105°F
All copepod and brine shrimp orders are shipped with an air gap in the bottle to ensure oxygen exchange and safe live arrival.
